Print and go reading comprehension practice all about the pilgrims who came to the New World on the Mayflower. These three differentiated reading passages examine the English history that led to the Pilgrims journey to the New World and their experiences on The Mayflower and in the New World.

The reading passages all cover the same important information, but differ in the length and the complexity of details.

Reading Passage 1: 6 pages

Reading Passage 2: 4 pages

Reading Passage 3: 2 pages

There are also questions organized using Bloom's Taxonomy (Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Examine, and Create). Any of the three reading passages can be used to answer the questions, but the complexity of the answers will vary based on the reading passage used.

There is also a Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How question set. One version has questions for the student to answer and the other is blank. This form of note taking/question answering would be especially interesting for students who need a challenge.

Finally, there is one page of questions about English history pertaining to the Pilgrims. This page can only be completed by students who read the first reading passage.
